How the record was made
Five tracks, in their own voices. Tap one to play it.
Kobina was buying one fish and arguing about the price of ten. I was the one selling. He lost the argument and won the number.
Six hours. She slept on my shoulder for five of them and said she hadn't. I still have the photograph.
He was in Tamale for work for a year. We spoke every night at nine. My credit bill was the most romantic thing about that year.
I was tested on fante kenkey. I passed. I have since learned that everybody passes.
He asked on the walls of the fort with the sun going down and my sandal strap broken. I said yes standing on one foot.
