At the mosque
- Dress modestly: arms and legs covered, and a headscarf for women.
- Shoes come off at the door. Slip-ons make this easy.
- Men and women sit separately for the Nikah. Ushers will show you where.
- Phones on silent, and no photographs during the prayer.
What to wear
Modest and beautiful. Kaftans, boubous and smocks are very welcome.
